Toulon · Var · Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

The House of Photography is a temporary exhibition gallery located in the old town of Toulon, in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Inaugurated in 2002, it occupies the premises of a former hammam whose characteristic circular structure it has preserved. This institution continues the photographic collection of the Toulon Art Museum and presents exhibitions dedicated to photography in all its forms: photojournalism, history and artistic creation. Its photographic collection, comprising more than 400 works, brings together humanist photographers as well as representatives of the Provençal school and plastic photography. The gallery regularly hosts temporary exhibitions highlighting the diversity of photographic practices.
