The House of Archaeology is a heritage interpretation center located in Thérouanne, in Pas-de-Calais. It offers a permanent exhibition organized around four historical periods, tracing the history of the municipality of Thérouanne from its Gallic origins to the contemporary period. The collections on display come entirely from archaeological excavations conducted on the site and its surroundings, and belong to the collections of the Saint-Omer museums, the municipality of Thérouanne, and the State. The establishment, located on the ground floor of the House of Morinie, also hosts temporary exhibitions and offers thematic guided tours, workshops, and lectures. The visit can be complemented by the discovery of the remains of the former cathedral and other elements of the local built heritage.
