National museum located in the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte in Ajaccio, South Corsica. The museum is recognized as one of the Houses of Famous Persons and is the most visited museum establishment in Corsica. It is dedicated to Napoleon's life in Ajaccio and the history of the residence, whose decorations were the subject of rediscovery and restoration completed in 2026. The museum offers individual and group visits, as well as audioguides and a virtual tour. Temporary exhibitions and cultural events, including participation in the European Night of Museums, enhance the visitor experience.
