The Roudoule Ecomuseum is a museum established in Puget-Rostang, in the Alpes-Maritimes, since 1986. Located in the rural territory of the Roudoule valley, it operates as an ecomuseum, organizing its activities around local natural and cultural heritage and the skills of mountain communities. The Ecomuseum House has 270 m² of exhibition spaces presenting temporary exhibitions renewed every twelve to eighteen months, generally devoted to themes of communication routes and exchanges. The permanent collections include a reconstitution of a cartwright's workshop, while a documentation center provides access to more than 12,400 articles and works. The institution brings together fourteen municipalities in the region and also offers seasonal workshops and cultural events to complement its heritage research and transmission activities.
