La Galerie François Ier est un joyau architectural datant du XVIe siècle, construit grâce aux Stuarts. Elle accueille annuellement des expositions thématiques de peintures, sculptures, céramiques et aquarelles. La galerie fonctionne d'avril à fin septembre avec des horaires étendus (10h30-12h30 et 14h30-18h30), et en octobre selon un calendrier réduit. Elle bénéficie d'une localisation prestigieuse au cœur du patrimoine historique d'Aubigny-sur-Nère.
